Dusty passed away at his home in Rockland on November 16, 2023 after battling ailments from dementia and hypotension. He joined MSSW in 2007 and quickly became a prolific woodturner, active at shows and events where he always had a generous display of turned objects and “baubles and bangles”, also known as bracelets, earrings and necklaces. Dusty was a force at these occasions with his outgoing personality and enthusiasm. His things always sold well. He demonstrated turning bracelets on more than one occasion at the club and was an active member. His many turned objects (over 40 bowls, bracelets, necklaces and earrings) were on display at his wake available to attendees for free in his remembrance.
