Former club member, Fred Ayers MD of Scituate passed away on April 13, 2021 after a lengthy battle with ALS. One of his sons, Tim was also active in the club. Fred was an active member who was known for a particular fondness for turn-ing large bowls on his One Way lathe. He quickly mastered the art of turning and became quite proficient.
