Bob was an early club member. Records show him in a club newsletter dated December 2002 giving a talk to members on turning a sphere. Originally from Pittsburgh, Bob moved to New York City and married his wife Mary Lou in 1947. There he was a partner in a photography studio, taught design at the Pratt Institute and ran a graphic design studio. Next he had a cabinet making shop and an antiques shop before he and Mary Lou started participating in antiques shows. Retiring to Hansen, Massachusetts to be near their daughters Bob joined the Massachusetts South Shore Woodturners and was a prolific and creative woodturner.
