Ed O’Riordan

Ed O’Riordan was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which had spread to his liver and passed away a month later on April 12th, 2025.

He was known as in the Club as the “Chainsaw Guy” and not only coordinated our Chainsaw parties but made sure that no one missed out on acquiring wood for lack of a chainsaw or ability to operate one. Ed was always responsive and went the extra mile as the face of the Club to our many wood donors.

Ed assisted John DelRosso, head arborist at the Arnold Arboretum during many of the wood distributions. He will be missed.
